    AIO with multiple pads

When using a AIO is there any benefit in using different pads cut pad polish pad etc... or do you just one pad for the complete process?

    Hey there,

When using the the VSS (all-in-one) polish, it's best to use only one pad throughout you car to make sure you stay even, but there may be some sections in your paintwork that may need a rougher compound or pad. It's your judgement call. It's all depending on your vehicle, We suggest you start light so as to not accidentally damage your vehicle. Start with a white pad and perhaps moving to an orange pad if it doesn't work.

Test spot...test spot...test spot. That will give you the best indicator of what pad/product combination you will need. Always start with the least aggressive, and move up if you have to

The more you hear, the less chance you'll have at forgetting. What Briarpatch said, Test spot! Test spot! Test spot!

Yeah, but if you use 1 pad, you want to clean that pad every 2 panels, right?

Yes, you're going to want to clean your pad. What I meant was you don't want to constantly be changing between pads because you're prone to have uneven paintwork on parts of your vehicle. 2 panels is the recommended time but it's also a judgement call.
