My wheels have a bit of surface rust on the inside lip, what can i use to get this off without scratching the chrome? I was told real fine steel wool well lubricated but i just feel like that would work but would scratch. I have diablo wheel cleaner on my list of things to get from chemical guys. Does this work at removong rust or just small stuff like brake dust and dirt? Are there other products that would work better for removing rust, maybe with a wheel brush?

Heres a pic of what im working with, theyre nice and shiny from a distance but up close its drivin me crazy lol

I'd use a metal/chrome polish if it doesn't come off with a good scrub. Or it might be past the point of no return.

I tried the vintage heavy metal polish by hand, thinkin i need something a little more aggressive or a ball buster attachment

Have you ever used the Grime Reaper degreaser?
