I use microfiber mitts as well. Microfiber is great for dirt retention as well. Your wash method is more of a deciding factor honestly as well.

I also use sheepskin, they don't seem to hold up as long as others. But they do seem to protect the surface the best.

Is that the same oil used on baseball gloves? Or am I thinking of something different.

Though it would, as you said, make a mitt last longer. Does that investment in mink oil justify simply buying another mitt? You could get roughly 4 or 5 mitts for (~$20) the price of the mink oil. hmmm :confused:

Wasn't too clear on how much would be used for each "treatment" seems like a feasible expense. I saw the 1oz bottle for $22 and got a little sticker shock :eek:
