Hi,

I'm looking for a polish for my black f150. My truck is an 06, has swirl & whenever it rains I get brown water marks on my hood. I would like to get rid of those problems. What do you recommend?
Thanks,
Nathan

A good place to start would be an Green pad and V-36, if that's not aggressive enough then V-34 and an Orange pad.

Yes V36 probably will take out 80% of defects in a few passes. then you can see from there, also a Vline sample kit is a good place to start as well

We've done some F150s. In our experience, they have extremely hard paint. We polished a black F150 for a masters course a few months back. We had to use microfiber cutting and finishing pads with V32 and V36 on DA machines to get the job done.

Try the less aggressive methods first, then bump up to microfiber if you need to.
