I also had this problem, my v-38 turned into water basically. I'm assuming because I left it in my truck one day while it was "hot" outside *Hot being 70 degrees here*. I ended up just ordering a new bottle of it. No matter how much you shake it up, its still watery.

@ Tdawgthegreat Hmm was the new bottle still watery?

I never used v38, but maybe its suppose to be that way, if not call them up and get a new bottle.

No, v38 is decently thick usually, just like the other Vline compounds/polishes. This definitely turned into the consistency of water. It still polished decently enough. But it's a pain because it slings the product everywhere. So I just threw it out and ordered a new bottle of polish, since I didn't want it to compromise my end result. Just didn't feel comfortable using the watery v38.

I never had an issue with v38. If it's not performing correctly call CG.
Shake it up really well. If it's slinging on you then your using to much product or not distributing it enough across the paint before you crank the power up.
Also do not lift the polisher off the paint until you shut the power off and it stops spinning.

i got a phone call from my supplier of my CG goodies and he said that he rang the guys in America and apparently it is now normal for v38 to be watery as they were trying to increase to lubricity.

Weird, the last 4 bottles of V38 I've gotten aren't watery.

I just tried it again, used a little 4oz bottle with v38 in it (brand new from my 16oz bottle), went in "thick" like normal V38. Left it in my truck for a couple hours while at work, brought it home, shook it up really good, and viola...consistency of water. I'm assuming its just when it gets too hot it just breaks down I guess.

I had a bottle do this, it was stored with all my other chemicals and the other chems were fine and did not break down.
It was a new bottle and when shaken and I opened the top, it shot out like a fountian, a good 1/8 the bottle gone.
I took it back and they gave me a new bottle, it was thick as it should be and has been fine for the last week including a 3 day polishing session in 95F plus heat though in the shade. It was still thick when it went back into the cabinet.

Hi guys! Sometimes extreme heat, given that in California it is reaching 100 degrees, will change the consistency. However, the product should work the same - just be sure to shake it first. Please feel free to let us know if you don't achieve the desired results and we will be glad to assist you! Happy Detailing

If u shake mine and the open it, better stand back cause it builds up pressure and sprays out like a shook up coke lol

You don't need to shake it to explode out of the bottle and I was not getting any real function from the water that flowed from the bottle, yet it was well shaken though a good portion of it wound up on the ground.

ive only had one get watery so far, and its like a glass of water, my other 2 bottles of 38 are very thick, so anyone who says its supposed to be watery is crazy
